January Book

thanks to sue for a fun read in december! because we didn't have a meeting last month, i have just taken the liberty of picking the book for january. i recently read it, and it was great. the meeting will be at my house, tues. jan. 18, at 7:30. hope to see you all there! the book is THE BOOK THIEF, by markus zusak.

deannah has picked our book for this month. it's the first book in a series called THE GREAT ADN TERRIBLE. the first book is called PROLOGUE: THE BROTHERS. the author is chris stewart. it's an lds fiction series, and this first book is about the pre-existence, and the war in heaven. it's a fun read, and it really paints a picture of what that time may have been like. i hope you all read it!

the meeting will be the third tuesday, october 19, at 7:30. it will be at deannah's house.

August's book

sorry for the lack of posts...i've been indisposed...but i'm back!

we had fun reading SENSE AND SENSIBILITY this month. i hope you all read it, though we had a small group for the movie viewing. we had a great time, with yummy treats, thanks stacy!

kim picked our july book. THE HELP, by kathryn stockett. it's supposedly a great read, so go pick it up and dive in! the meeting will be on july 20, at 7:30, location TBA. it's great to see so many sisters and friends coming out and joining our meetings! and of course reading great books together. :)
